Anger is a completely natural and normal emotion. We all express anger over situation that require a strong response, and it can be used constructively to deal with situations. However when that anger is out of control, when it occurs frequently or when it start affecting relationships and or when it is expressed as violence, then it becomes a problem.
In some cases excessive anger can be linked to a brain injury however often it is a result of feeling like there is no other option but to be angry. Learning to control these feeling, learning appropriate outlets for frustration or sadness and learning how to effectively communicate with those around you are the first steps to managing your anger.
