If only children came with instruction books! How often have you heard that lament from your parenting peers, or even from yourself? While they don’t come with instruction books, a trained psychologist can help you when you feel things are going awry, or even before that, to prevent problems arising.

A trained psychologist can help you work through issues such as nurturing a child’s self-esteem, discipline, sibling rivalry, aggressive behaviour or bullying. Some parents find that becoming a parent can stir problems that they had pushed down in the past, from their own childhood, and research has shown that unless these are addressed, they can continue the cycle. Parenting is hard at the best of times, isn’t it nice to know that there is a friendly ear when things just get too much?

With over thirty years of experience, there isn’t much Margaret hasn’t come across. As a trained Clinical Psychologist, Margaret McDonald can teach you techniques and ideas to make parenting that little bit smoother. Please don’t hesitate to phone our office on 3862 8833 or email
